Mark has a lovely head, wide skull and short muzzle. He has a lovely arched neck, that is set well on his shoulders. He has a wonderful layback to his shoulders, with a prominent fore-chest as well as good sternum. He has good bone, and lovely angles, both front and rear. His topline is level with a high proud tail set. He is a very well balanced dog that can naturally strike an almost perfect stack. His movement is elastic and very athletic, and his lovely coat is shiny and tight fitting to his smooth muscles. His temperament is absolutely stellar, very attentive, watchful and protective all in the right measures. 2005 proved to be Marks' year, finishing both his American and, shortly there after, International titles and even obtaining a passing score for his Temperament Testing. I owe so much gratitude to Cheryl Cates for guiding Mark to so many of his points including the all important Majors. Cheryl is a great lady and a fantastic spokesperson for the breed and sportsmanship both in and out of the ring. So Thank You Cheryl Cates for all you have done, and all you continue to do! What's next for for this exciting young man...well, he has started training for Obedience and Rally, in the meantime, he may pop in at a few shows in Southern California as a Special with me at the helm. March 30, 2007 found Mark receiving his Canine Good Citizen (CGC) award from the Tri Valley Working Dog Club of Pinion Hills. It was a beautiful day and Mark charmed everyone in and out of the ring! As always, Mark is all about leaving an impression (usually a foot impression!) on the people that he meets. We are very proud of Mark and this milestone - though it is a small title, it proves that Mark is ready to accomplish more. So, now the training really begins for obedience. July 5, 2007 found Mark in attendance at the first annual Boxer Club of San Fernando Valley Rally Trial. After 2 previous attempts at getting a Rally Novice leg, Mark was finally able to garner a score of 87, and his first leg. July 6 and 7 proved to be easy for Mark in the Rally ring, he picked up legs 2 and 3 with scores of 90 and 84. And with that, his Rally Novice title (RN). I really am proud of Mark, he is getting ready to turn 4 and is looking better then ever! I hope to see another title added to his name in a few more months. \ Marks' Show Pictures
