holds a very close part of my heart.  Speaker lived with us, until she was almost 11 months old.  Older puppies are so much harder to place, but I was willing for her to stay in our home forever if need be.  She is such a sweet girl, with a very tough exterior, just like her father.  When the Ullom family contacted me, being very interested in Speaker, I couldn't have been happier.  I had all ready had many people that were interested in Speaker - but no one wanting to have a pre-trained young adult in their home- once they realized she was not a 4 month old puppy.  I personally would prefer an older puppy - ears all ready cropped, potty training done, and of course all ready crate and leash trained - that is a perfect pet to me. 

Speaker has had a slower start in the show ring then her brother Mark.  At her first show in April 2004, Speaker did garner a RWB handled by me, Amber Gates.  Speaker recently won a large class of Open Brindles at the 2005 Boxer Regionals here in Pomona, California, with Cheryl Cates at the end of the lead- her parents were absolutely bitten by the show bug as they saw their little girl strut her stuff.  They did their homework and found a show near their home just a few weeks later - and low and behold, Speaker lands a Winners Bitch and Best of Winners!  I couldn't be more proud of Speaker and her parents!  I hope that this is the beginning of a wonderful adventure for Speaker.  Keep your eyes peeled for this lovely young lady in a show ring throughout California.
